On 28 September, on the margins of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan held meetings with his counterparts from a number of states.

During a meeting with Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the foreign ministries of the two countries on holding political consultations.
