The consistent policy of our Esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov aimed at modernizing the country's oil and gas industry, increasing the production efficiency of mineral resource extraction, and broadly integrating modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence capabilities into production processes is being successfully implemented. Thanks to the Head of State's continuous support in strengthening the material and technical foundation of the fuel and energy complex and developing innovative solutions, Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector is elevating international cooperation to a new level.

As part of these ongoing transformations, on September 18, representatives from the State concerns «Türkmennebit» and «Türkmengaz» visited the production and R&D centers of «Huawei» located in Shenzhen, People's Republic of China. During the visit, Turkmen specialists were introduced to new technological products, laboratory activities, training centers, and modern innovative solutions.

The working meetings focused primarily on the digital and intelligent transformation of the oil and gas sector. During the discussions, «Huawei» experts shared detailed information about their extensive experience gained in collaboration with leading global oil and gas enterprises, such as CNPC (China), ADNOC (United Arab Emirates), and others, in deploying the company's latest products — artificial intelligence (AI) solutions and the innovative «Huawei» processor — into production.

Following the negotiations, «Huawei» presented its comprehensive capabilities for the digital transformation of Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector. The Chinese side proposed jointly executing pilot projects on unifying production data and integrating artificial intelligence, inviting Turkmen partners to collaborate. It was highlighted that these initiatives can be successfully carried out in full compliance with Turkmenistan's legislation, information security requirements, and the operational characteristics of the State concerns «Türkmennebit» and «Türkmengaz».
