Ambassador of Malaysia to Turkmenistan Mohd Suhaimi Ahmad Tajuddin held a meeting with the Director of the Turkmen Energy Forum Nazar Atajanov. This was reported by the Embassy of Malaysia in Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the parties discussed preparations for the XXXI International Conference and Exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan — OGT 2026», as well as issues related to the participation of Malaysian representatives in the upcoming event. The XXXI International Conference and Exhibition «Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan — OGT 2026» will be held in Ashgabat from October 21 to 23. The forum will bring together representatives of government structures, leading energy companies, international organizations, financial institutions and the expert community. The focus of the participants' attention will be on the prospects for the development of Turkmenistan's oil and gas industry, attracting foreign investment, introducing modern technologies and expanding international energy cooperation. The participation of the Malaysian delegation will be another opportunity to strengthen business contacts between the two countries.
