On June 29, a President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received in Ashgabat the heads of leading companies from Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Republic of Türkiýe. The visits by major foreign businessmen coincided with notable dates — the third anniversary of the «smart» city of Arkadag and the birthday of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The foreign guests conveyed their congratulations to the leadership of Turkmenistan and expressed admiration for the scale of urban development and socio-economic reforms in the country. Japanese vector: gas chemistry and industry As part of strengthening long-term Turkmen-Japanese cooperation, the Head of State held talks with the leaders of two major corporations: «Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.»: The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received a Vice President of «Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd.» Kenji Sanada. The parties noted the long-term, strategic nature of relations between Turkmenistan and Japan, based on the principles of mutual respect and support. Expressing sincere gratitude for the high trust shown and the opportunities created for effective activity in the promising Turkmen market, Kenji Sanada assured that the company would continue to steadfastly fulfill its contractual obligations. «Toyo Engineering Corporation»: During the meeting with a President and CEO of «Toyo Engineering Corporation» Eiji Hosoi, the progress of flagship projects was discussed. A clear example of productive cooperation between Turkmenistan and «Toyo Engineering Corporation» is the construction in Gyýanly of the largest gas chemical complex — a polymer plant. The Head of State confirmed the readiness of our country to consider new proposals from the «Toyo Engineering Corporation» in the field of oil, gas, and chemical industries. Expanding cooperation with the Republic of Korea The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received a Chairman of the Board of «Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd» Jeong Won-ju. The Head of State noted that constructive partnership has been established between Turkmenistan and «Daewoo Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd». The company is currently implementing a project to build a mineral fertilizer production complex at a chemical plant in the city of Turkmenabat, Lebap velayat. As emphasized, this project will not only ensure the domestic market is supplied with products from the national chemical industry but also expand the scale of its exports. Strategic partnership with Turkish business «Çalyk Holding»: At the meeting with a Chairman of the Board of Directors of «Çalyk Holding» group of companies Ahmet Çalık, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan fully supports the introduction of scientifically grounded approaches, innovative technologies, and highly effective economic solutions into joint projects, expressing confidence that «Çalyk Holding» will continue to effectively carry out activities in implementing state and regionally significant projects in Turkmenistan, applying new technologies and high-performance equipment. «Rönesans Holding»: At the meeting with a Chairman of the Board of «Rönesans Holding» Erman Ilıcak, it was emphasized that the company has established itself as a reliable partner, having successfully implemented a number of projects in our country. These include the construction of major industrial enterprises, infrastructure facilities, as well as projects in the energy sector.
