Energy Georgian Oil Refinery to Start Processing Turkmen Crude

    02 Apr 26

Georgia’s Black Sea Petroleum (BSP) refinery will begin processing crude oil from Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

According to Business Media Georgia on Monday, the company’s CEO David Potskhveria confirmed that agreements for the supply of Turkmen crude in the coming months have already been reached.

Potskhveria said logistical routes through Azerbaijan are currently being finalized, after which regular deliveries are expected to begin.

Black Sea Petroleum is Georgia’s first full-scale oil refinery, located in Kulevi on the Black Sea coast. At the current stage, the facility processes up to 1.2 million tons of crude oil per year and produces naphtha, fuel oil, and diesel components.
