Council of Trade Unions of the country’s oil and gas sector holds training and advisory seminar

A practical-methodological training and advisory seminar was held at the Center of Public Organizations of Turkmenistan. The event was organized to improve the work of trade unions and to structure their activities in accordance with modern requirements.

The seminar, organized by the Council of Trade Unions of the Country’s Oil and Gas Sector, was attended by heads and treasurers of primary trade union organizations from various industries.

Speakers included: Head of the Central Investigation Group of Turkmenistan’s Trade Unions, Allamurat Sahetmyradov; specialist of the Financial-Economic Department of the National Center of Trade Unions of Turkmenistan, Amangeldi Annaberdiyev; legal advisor of the Department for the Protection of Social and Labor Rights of Trade Union Members, Gurbanmyrat Hojamgulov; and Chairperson of the Primary Organization of the Trade Union of the Association "Türkmengazüpjünçilik" of the State concern "Türkmengaz", Mayagozel Berdiyeva.

In their speeches, they emphasized that the country’s high level of achievements and leading positions are largely due to the active role of public organizations, including trade unions. Their members not only work diligently in production but also show initiative in social activities.

The seminar addressed ways to improve trade union operations, developed recommendations, considered proposals, and included Q&A sessions to exchange experience and discuss pressing issues.
