On February 9, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Myahri Byashimova met with UN Resident Coordinator in Turkmenistan Dmitry Shlapachenko and the Ambassadors of Central Asian countries in Turkmenistan.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the UN and its specialized agencies.

Particular attention was paid to the preparation and holding of the second regional training for young diplomats and other civil servants from Central Asian countries in Ashgabat in the near future.
