    Turkmenistan and Honduras Sign Joint Communiqué to Establish Diplomatic Relations

    Turkmenistan and the Republic of Honduras formally established diplomatic relations on Wednesday, following a signing ceremony held at the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the United Nations in New York.


    According to the Turkmenistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic ties was signed by Aksoltan Ataeva, Turkmenistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, and Mary Elizabeth Flores, Permanent Representative of Honduras to the United Nations.


    Before the signing ceremony, Aksoltan Ataeva and Mary Elizabeth Flores met to reaffirm their shared interest in fostering friendly relations and enhancing bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and humanitarian fields. They also voiced a mutual commitment to work together within international organizations, especially the United Nations.


    Following the ceremony, both parties extended congratulations to the governments and peoples of Turkmenistan and Honduras on the establishment of diplomatic relations.
