XXIV universal international exhibition "White City Ashgabat" started on Saturday at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat, according to Turkmenistan’s state news agency.

The exhibition features participation from Turkmen and foreign companies and enterprises, representatives of ministries and government agencies, as well as heads of diplomatic missions and international organizations operating in Turkmenistan.

A congratulatory address by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov was read at the opening ceremony. "I am confident that the international exhibition and conference, organized with the purpose of popularizing the achievements of the white-marble Ashgabat in the global community, and exchanging experience in this area with foreign partners, will have great significance in continuing the work to enhance the beauty of the Turkmen capital, and its further transformation into one of the most beautiful and comfortable cities to live in the world", the Head of State said.

Among the participants of the Ashgabat expo are many foreign partners from countries such as Russia, China, South Korea, Turkey, and numerous others. Exhibitors showcased their products, achievements, and new ideas, demonstrating the diversity of global innovations.

The exhibition features not only goods and services but also projects in the fields of ecology and sustainable development, highlighting Ashgabat’s commitment to the principles of a “green” city.

At the sections and sites of the exhibition center managing enterprises of sectoral departments of ministries, entrepreneurs of the country, and foreign companies working in Ashgabat and willing to participate in the implementation of a huge urban development program demonstrate their achievements.
