    Ashgabat to Host Meeting of Turkmen-Romanian Commission on Energy Cooperation

    Ashgabat will host the eighth meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian working commission on energy cooperation in April of this year, announced Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov during the regular online government meeting on Friday. From the Turkmen side, representatives of relevant structures will participate, including the Ministry of Finance and Economics, the International Oil and Gas University named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, Türkmengaz, Türkmennebit, and Türkmenhimiýa state concerns, as well as the Türkmenenergo State Energy Corporation and the AZOT Deňiz Shipping Fleet, as reported by the official media of Turkmenistan. The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, emphasized the importance of consistently developing partnership relations with European countries, particularly with Romania, and instructed to ensure thorough preparation for the upcoming event. The Cabinet of Ministers also reviewed a number of other state matters, with corresponding decisions made.
