The Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium, Sapar Palvanov, met with the EU Special Representative for Central Asia, Eduards Stiprais. The participants of the negotiations discussed the implementation of joint initiatives.

The meeting also addressed the prospects of bilateral relations and preparations for planned events in the context of interregional cooperation, the Embassy of Turkmenistan reported on Thursday.

The interlocutors focused on key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union, as well as the EU's strategy for engagement with Central Asian states.

Palvanov and Stiprais expressed their readiness for further productive dialogue aimed at strengthening the legal framework for partnership and supporting the sustainable development of the region.
