Mergen Gurdov, Chairman of the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), met with Ravshanbek Alimov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, on Thursday in Ashgabat. During the meeting, Alimov highlighted Turkmenistan’s high export potential and proposed establishing joint ventures between the two countries.

The sides discussed expanding connections between Turkmenistan’s regions and neighboring areas of Uzbekistan, which would create new business opportunities. They proposed holding the Third Turkmen-Uzbek Interregional Forum in Uzbekistan in 2025, as reported by TCCI.

Alimov also invited the Turkmen delegation to participate in international forums and exhibitions scheduled in Uzbekistan throughout the year.

Earlier, entrepreneurs from Turkmenistan took part in a business mission to Uzbekistan, organized for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.
