    Turkmenistan Places Special Emphasis on Diversifying Natural Gas Exports

    Turkmenistan places special emphasis on diversifying natural gas exports and developing the processing industry, noted the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, during a meeting with the advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, Akihisa Nagasima, on Wednesday in Ashgabat.

    Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that large-scale joint projects with Japanese companies are already being implemented in the country and confirmed Turkmenistan's readiness to expand this partnership, as reported by official media of Turkmenistan.

    For his part, Nagasima highlighted the interest of Japanese companies in continuing and deepening their partnership with Turkmenistan.

    During the negotiations, the parties discussed Turkmenistan's participation in the upcoming World Expo EXPO-2025 in Japan, as well as strengthening cultural ties.

    At the end of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further developing bilateral relations and expressed confidence in strengthening Turkmen-Japanese partnership.
