Chairman of the Board of the national company QazaqGaz Sanzhar Zharkeshov held talks with Executive Vice President of ADNOC Mohammed Al-Aryani about the prospects for joint geological exploration in Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan, the company’s press service reports.

“We see great prospects for cooperation with ADNOC and express our readiness to effectively use the potential in this area. QazaqGaz is ready to offer transparent and competitive conditions and provide access to promising areas.

This step could become the basis for strengthening the bilateral partnership,” said Sanzhar Zharkeshov.

In 2024, during the official visit of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to Turkmenistan, a strategic agreement on the development of the gas industry was signed between QazaqGaz and "Turkmengaz".
