The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, arrived in Hungary on Friday for an official visit to participate in the 16th meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States. Official media of Turkmenistan report that officials accompanied the National Leader to the International Airport in Ashgabat. After the flight to Hungary's capital, the aircraft carrying Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov landed at Ferenc Liszt International Airport, where representatives from the country's official circles welcomed him. The previous meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States took place on March 11-12 of this year in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan.
