A delegation from Turkmenistan joined the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), which opened on November 11 in Baku and will continue until November 22, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media. Baku expects around 70,000 foreign guests, including representatives from nearly 200 countries, who have come to discuss key climate agenda issues. The summit will commence with a large opening ceremony at the Baku Olympic Stadium, followed by a two-day Summit of World Leaders on Climate Action. Approximately 80 heads of state and government will present their visions for addressing climate challenges.
