Torsten Kuntze

Dr.-Ing. Torsten Kuntze is an executive in electrical engineering and high-voltage technology with decades of international management experience across global industrial groups. He currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of VEM GmbH, the holding company of the VEM Group, a position he has held since 2017, alongside his role as Managing Director of VEM Sachsenwerk GmbH since 2012. His career at VEM Sachsenwerk includes a decade as Plant Director from 2006 to 2016. Prior to joining VEM, Dr. Kuntze held senior executive and technical roles at Siemens AG, including Managing Director of Siemens AG Ruhrtal GmbH & Co. OHG, Project Manager for Local Content Setup at Siemens Brazil, and R&D Engineer for High Voltage Circuit Breakers. He holds a Doctorate in Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) in Electrotechnique from the Technical University of Dresden.
