Thilo Rost
Managing director, G5 Group AG
Mr Thilo Rost graduated from the University of Economics, in Berlin in 1981, specializing in international trade, with a degree of an economist. In 1985 he also got the second degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Wildau, Germany. In 2009 he was appointed a Managing Director of PWT Wasser- und Abwassertechnik GmbH, an engineering division of Saudi Arabian Amiantit, focusing on the design and construction of water facilities. From May 2021 he became a shareholder and also a managing director of G5 Group AG, Switzerland – a company specializing in the provision of engineering, procurement and logistical support for the construction of industrial facilities. In this role he has been supervising the implementation of a number of important construction projects in Turkmenistan, including construction of the 2nd stage of Koytendag cement plant and currently ongoing renovation of Tejen chemical plant.
