Batyr Mammedov
Rector of the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction
In 1995, after finishing school, he entered the Oil and gas faculty of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute. In 2000, having successfully graduated from the institute with a degree in “Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields”, he received the qualification of a mining engineer.
In 2000-2004, he worked as the chief information officer at the State Agency for Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources at the President of Turkmenistan.
In 2004-2008, he worked as a chief specialist in the oil and gas industry Department of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.
In 2008-2017, he worked as a leading engineer, senior research fellow, head of laboratory, head of sector at the Natural gas research Institute of the “Turkmengas” State concern.
In 2015, he defended his PhD thesis and received a PhD in technical sciences.
In 2017-2024, he worked as Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at the Yagshygeldi Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas.
Since July 2024, Rector of the Turkmen State Architecture and Construction Institute.
